all things baby

Have you ever noticed how things run in waves - when I had my first baby 8 years ago, there were about 6 of us all pregnant at the same time. Now there's another wave happening (not me this time though!) everyone is pregnant, getting their babies christened or having their babies! - Dorothea - good luck tomorrow, I can't wait to hear if it's a girl or a boy!!! The piccies above are from my great friend Trine's little girl Charli's christening on the weekend xxxx

Home

A Few months ago our house was featured in Brisbane News magazine! After all this time I thought I'd get organised enough to find the article!! - It shows the great big red wall...now, I've picked out a grey/eggplant type lighter colour to replace it with, so watch this space!

Today I had the pleasurable job of photographing "Cute as Buttons"

range of babyware for the very talented duo Sharon and Lisa!

Such a nice task...playing around with all the cute little things!

Time for tea anyone?

A couple of weeks ago, a dear friend and I went into the Brisbane Arcade and had our tea leaves read!
What a find!! It's this fabulous old and daggy shop with stained paintings, old crusty towells hanging up on the wall and two older bent-over ladies - one to read the leaves , the other to get your snack, pot of tea and chat.

On the menu - a lovely home-printed A4 sheet with garish unicorns as decoration...was toasted sandwiches, scones (yes, home-made and to die for!) AND who remembers SAO's biscuits? Well, you can order some or Rivita's with cheese and tomato!! Delightfully old fashioned and simple fare but simply perfect xx

Then it was on to the reading!! In the bottom of my cup was the shape of a lovely old tree (its meaning forgotten!) She went on to see a Kiwi bird - interesting after my missed trip to New Zealand week after next!
I was also told I will live somewhere up high and look out over everything like a giraffe!
The number 3 is important as is a person in my life who's name starts with J.....
time will tell!!!

There's no place like home

Over the past few weeks I have been thinking of repainting a large feature wall in our lounge room...it's a rather dark red now and I'm tired of it. So, I have been trying to decide on a new lighter more neutral colour....decisions decisions! Here's how it all looks now!
