Peony Rose Perfection

Thank you all for asking about Master D....he was fine again yesterday, so he must have eaten something contaminated early in the week...
I am being extra careful and double checking all ingredient lists.
Yesterday I photographed my last wedding of the year - a very hot day in Brisbane but lovely and relaxed with a very happy bride and groom!
On my way home I found these stunning Peony Roses in Coles of all places!!!
It will give you a not-so-subtle hint as to the sex of baby we found out this
week at the 19 week scan!!!!
Happy weekend.

Tis a mystery...

My little helper is home again today and came with me to work as well....Master D has Coeliac Disease and somehow, somewhere he seems to have ingested some gluten lately????
He's had stomach pains for 3 days now.
What annoys me is that I can't think HOW??? Very frustrating....or maybe he just has a tummy virus or something I guess.....
Anyway, off to do cuddle duty!
Have a great day x

Baby baby!

Oh what a sweet little boy!
This is Mr B....my lovely friend's lovely baby.
He was perfect, stayed awake for ages and then slept for me too as I do like getting sleeping beauty photos!
I had nothing to be worried about x

Don't you just love it when birthdays go on for weeks!!!
Yesterday I met up with the lovely Rachael - one of the fabulous organisers from the Boutique Markets for lunch and shopping....it was just what I needed inbetween hours at my other job and I came away feeling very spoilt!
So this morning I am having a gorgeous cup of tea in my pressie from her - I love the way the pink of the saucer and that of the cup is ever so slightly different.
Wish me luck as I am now off to a dear friends to photograph her new baby - but am feeling sick with insecurity as she is a wonderful photographer and very technically perfect where as I just shoot what I like and never worry about things like studios, lights etc.
Still as she is a mother with two children under 2...I realise how imposible it would be for her to do any photographs at all, so my interpretation will be appreciated I'm sure...just got to get over my nerves!!!
Happy weekend x

What I've been doing...

I'm still feeling pretty awful with this constant morning sickness - so much so, I had to cancel a morning tea today I was looking forward to. Anyway, I did have 2 weeks recently during which I did feel better, so hopefully with some rest I can feel myself again soon!
These are just some piccies I took of some new stock I did last week for the school markets.
I had a great night, saw lots of friends and came home with a much lighter load and cashed up!
Enjoy your day xx

To market to market to buy a fat pig....

Well, maybe not the fat pig part!!
Tonight I've got a table at our school's Market Night...so last night I stayed up to all hours making these headbands with the school fabric to sell.
As I have a poorly little boy home today, I might even get a few photos framed to add to the mix which would be nice!
If you're local and want a spot of christmas shopping....
it's all happening from 7-9pm at Prince of Peace Lutheran College
20 Rodgers Parade West, Everton Hills.
Happy weekend!

A different side to the markets!

Little Miss S and I went shopping together yesterday at the Boutique Markets!!
It was really fun wandering around without rushing, being able to stop and talk to friends without looking over my shoulder AND being able to shop shop shop!
Next month I will be back on deck as a stall holder again now that I am feeling a teeny bit better, but oh it was nice being the customer for once....I have been keeping the camera only for jobs lately, so I have no piccies to show you today.....sometimes I just need a break!
Speaking of breaks - I'm very excited as Miss S and I have booked ourselves 4 days in Sydney just before christmas as a special mummy/daughter treat before a new baby arrives.
As she was born there, she wants to see our old Pyrmont pad and surrounds where she and I used to pound the pavements when she cried as a baby! We'll also do the zoo for her, Paddington Markets for me, a beach visit, a ferry ride, the art gallery, shopping, aquarium and all the other things I miss about living in Sydney - seeing old friends and showing off my little girl! Can't wait.

Another snippet!!

Yesterday I went and visited my sister again....and after telling her to go have a sleep while I held the baby....I found myself falling asleep sitting up holding her!!! So, best not fall asleep on the job.... I got up and took some more photos of her - can't have enough while they're little hey!
Today I am finally starting a wedding album from that lovely country wedding at Melany, so that will be fun. Enjoy your day x

I can't resist.....

New Chrissy decorations!!!!
I am one of those christmas-loving people....I love everything about it.....can't get sick of hearing carols, want the tree up NOW....dream of menus....and have a soft spot for nativity scenes!
This year DD and I are hosting the family christmas at our place - and for once we are going to indulge him and have the traditional hot christmas lunch on christmas day instead of our usuall christmas eve. As DD is from the mother country, he wants to do an 'English' christmas this year from roast turkey, stuffing and gravy to brandy butter, pudding and board games!
I must admit to being very excited about it and when I was out last week just had to pick up these lovely santa Russian Dolls and new decorations below that match my loose Scandinavian theme to a T.
Bring on December xx
