Macro love

I flew out the door in such a rush yesterday to get to the Boutique markets - 

I didn't realise I had the macro lens on still...

anyway, turned out to be the best thing 

as I got some really colourful interesting shots!

I think they look fabulous don't you - I'm quite proud of my 'rustic' sewing skills!

I wish I was flying to Melbourne tomorrow to do the set up for Sunday's Mathilda's Market, but  at least I can look forward to Canberra, Adelaide and Sydney coming up in the next few weeks which I AM attending - woo hoo!

This weekend.....

I'm busy tonight sewing some special creatures to live in the tree below - if you are in  Melbourne you can pop into the Mathilda's Market and see what I end up making! - 

Sunday 27th Feb at Hawthorne Town Hall, 360 Burwood Rd 9am - 1pm.

Then for those of us still is Brissie - 

the Boutique Markets are on at Portside Wharf 8am - 1pm Sunday 27th Feb

there's a cruise ship in too - well worth a look up close to see just how BIG they are!!

Blue-eyed girl

At 10 months I think it's nearly safe to say Lolly's eyes will remain blue/grey like my own!

(I'm finally getting a look in genetically as Si has green and Dan brown.)

Every month of her first year I've been trying to get some nice piccies of her...

todays effort wasn't up to scratch...

she has a cold and her nose seems to be streaming, 

there's breakfast stuck in her neck 

and rusk mooshed all over her pretty dress!!!

Tomorrow is a new day with new photos to be taken!

Today is officially...

day of cuddles and extra breastfeeds!

For the love of colour!

 I'm usually a black and white girl through and through - 

but over the last few months, 

I've noticed I'm getting into colour a lot more!

Completely enjoyed the markets yesterday -

 came home with a couple of treats too - shhhhh!

I'm now in the countdown to my first trip interstate for Mathilda's Markets - 

 last week I stopped breastfeeding overnight 

and today I've told myself I have to introduce milk from a cup....

heartbreaking, but worth it, as I will be doing something I love and have wanted to do for ages 

- so today I'm cutting out triangles to make some pretty bunting to decorate with.

I'll show you how it ends up soon!

This Sunday in Brisbane!

Hooray!!  

the Boutique Markets are back for the year starting this Sunday Feb 13th

8am - 1pm Portside Wharf

then they'll be on every fortnight which is even more exciting!
