We stopped by Sydney Boys High on Friday as a possible venue (too small)

Mirrors and markets!

Had a fabulously busy weekend...

flew to Sydney Friday and got reminded how slow the traffic is there 

AND YET how much I miss certain things about living there!!

Mathilda's Market at Paddington was a wonderful day Saturday, then we flew home to do it all again at Boutique markets Sunday - a cruise ship was in and after being cold in windy Sydney, it was lovely to head out yesterday in flip flops and feel the warm sun again!

Away I go...

...to my old stomping ground of Sydney for a quick visit to help host the Mathilda's Market!

As blogger for Mathilda's I've seen the line-up of retailers 

and just as well I'll be working most of the time or 

I could buy just about everything :)

Noosa

Last week we dropped the 2 older kids at school 

and went up to Noosa for a wickedly-lovely lunch by the beach!!!

Little Lolly had her first experience of sand too and had a whale of a time in the water :)

I have to admit I've been very slack at my own blog lately!!

With doing 2 others and working here and there...

time and energy get the better of me and another week has flown by.  

This weekend I really enjoyed being at home for once and we celebrated my first-born's 10th birthday!  

I bravely took 5 little ladies to the theatre to see the Big Friendly Giant - it was great and we all loved it.  We then got drive-thru junk food and came home to 'THE dessert bar'...every sprinkle and topping you could imagine putting on icecream I'd put in china teacups...

and to be honest - was MUCH easier than doing a cake!!!  

They then did the sleep-over thing watching movies, throwing popcorn and having pillow fights.

Simple pleasures.

...and onto Adelaide!

A very busy, very tiring but very rewarding weekend!

What a line-up for market-lovers this weekend!!

First of all, it's Brisbane's turn to have the fabulous Mathilda's Market...baby and children shopping heaven!  Then we get on the plane and head to Adelaide to take Mathilda's there on Sunday!

Also on Sunday back here in Brissie, are the Boutique Markets at Portside from 8am - 1pm.

I can't wait :)

Canberra

Saturday afternoon I flew down to Canberra - 

and although I saw a snippet of it...I loved what I saw :)

I managed to duck out on sunset and walk through a lovely park by the lake.

I loved the chill in the air, being able to wear layers of clothes and a scarf, 

all the leaves just about to turn and the thrill of being somewhere different

(even better LOVING my job and not missing my babies too much!!)

Sunday was the Canberra episode of Mathilda's Market - fantastic gear!!!

I got a gorgeous little outfit for Lolly's first birthday coming up...

this weekend is Adelaide...wonder what I'll find there?
