Plans...

Not long from now, we are meeting some friends out from the UK up at Port Douglas for a week by the beach!!!  DD and I spent part of our honeymoon there, so I can't wait to go back and see what's changed in the last decade or so!  I'm hoping it will be a lot warmer than here - I'm really feeling the cold this year and it feels like it's been going on forever...so come on spring!

school with the kids and simply admiring the beautiful light x

even Brissie has felt cold the last few weeks, 

so it would be nice to feel some grass beneath bare feet don't you think?

Still giddy from being in Donna Hay Magazine...

today I picked up the August issue of Real Living 

and was thrilled to see a Twine and Teacups print 

on page 8 as part of the Boutique Markets feature!

I'm so proud...and better clear some space on the dining room table 

as the orders have come thick and fast all weekend!!

School holidays!

Well, school is back now for my lot...

but here's a look at what we got up to one morning...roller skating!!

Nothing much has changed in 20 years since I last went, but I do remember skating on the cement at school every lunch time - I bet schools don't let that happen anymore...someone might skin a knee!

Found these tiny darlings in the grass on the side of the road just outside 

Melbourne on the weekend, and just had to stop and take a piccie or two!

Pure magic!

Over the weekend, I took my middle baby to Melbourne with me 

and we drove up to Mt Donna Buang to see his first snow!

It was so so magical...as we drove up we entered the clouds and it became all misty and atmospheric.

I loved the way the only civilisation up there was a truck renting out toboggans and a caravan selling hot soup and drinks.  So we rugged up with all our woolies and headed off...

he must have spent nearly 3 hours going up and down the slopes with his toboggan and admiring snowmen, igloos and of course throwing lots of snowballs!!!

I was so excited to get my copy of the annual Donna Hay Kids mag this week....

my Twine and Teacups prints have been featured twice!!!!

Anyway, madly packing winter woolies to fly to Melbourne tomorrow morning for the 

Boutique Markets launch on Sunday at Hawthorn Town Hall  9am - 1pm.

I'm taking my little 8 year old man for a treat and we're going to drive up into the mountains and show him his first snow, so the atmosphere in our house is mounting to near bursting point!!!!
