Family piccies

Confession time -

I'm like the home builder without any skirting boards or the plumber without a working toilet....

I would have to be at least 5 years behind in putting all our family photos into albums!

Over the weekend I've made a start finally - even if it is going backwards and starting with holidays first!!

But hey - it's progress  :)

New beginnings!

No school holidays anymore!

This week our two oldest started at a brand new school and the littely one started going off to care a couple of days a week....lots of cuddles are needed to adjust, but all-up going well x

I need to clear some space on my shelves for some new designs, so if you're after some pressies for new babies, birthdays or re-decorating...now is the time xx

Shock horror - a tidy house!!!

Human nature is such a funny thing...we've just spent years (and lots of cash) making our house perfect in our eyes...I said I'd never leave, but suddenly over the holidays, we are toying with the idea of selling/renting/who knows what really.  

Time for a new adventure!  

So, as any real mother under the sun will know, the house is NEVER like this...I had it assessed by a real estate agent and had to tidy up AND mop all in the same day!!

Anyone want to buy a pretty house?

I've got  a secret that is so sweet it seems a little sad to let it out as keeping it close to my heart makes it even more delicious - do you find that sometimes too?

BUT, it almost hasn't seemed real it's so out of my normality...so maybe sharing will make it real!!

In April I'm off to spend 10 glorious days in New York city!!!!!!!

Three of my lovely girlfriends and I, from playgroup days, are celebrating a special birthday and after talking about it for years, we finally used up all our frequent flyer points (and our husbands, father's sister's - you name it...we begged borrowed and accepted gifted points!)

So, here we are all booked and starting to make lists of all the things we want to see!

Mud glorious mud!!

Popped down to the beach last week with a special friend...

the kids all had a fun muddy time....so much so, we're heading back this morning!

We've had the last 3 days here with temperatures close to 40 degrees...the long school holidays are getting tedious for us all and Miss Lolly isn't sleeping well at night....

have to admit I'm counting down the days till school and childcare start so I can recharge my batteries a bit by getting into a few work projects for more than 5 mins at a time and actually COMPLETE something!  Imagine that!!
