What happened to my baby?

Over the weekend, we had to remove the side of the cot as Miss Lolly kept trying to jump out
...end of an era...half sad, half happy!

Show time

Our school fete was on last weekend -
gotta love silly hats, baby animals, junk food,
crazy rides, fund-raising auctions and cake stalls!

So who's going to the Ekka soon in Brissie?

I'm back!!!

Hello!
sorry it's been a while....we've been off out in the country for a
few days showing the kids the joys of farm life!
I will post more pics tomorrow...we had a ball and as you can see from the picture above our two and a lovely friends three children did too....
favourite things range from roasting marshmallows on the fire, playing with the puppy, feeding the alpacas, catching yabbys in the creek AND finding just the right walking stick for a hike.
Simple, honest, tiring and very dirty fun!!!

Such decadence....

It was a weekend of utter decadence!!
A dear friend had the children while DD and I got to go out for brunch in the beautiful cafe Anouk at Paddington.....

It's only a few times a year we get to go out alone...drink coffee while it's hot without pencils and colouring all over the table....TALK.....and actually enjoy the food we ordered just for ourselves and linger afterwards warming in the winter sun....
bliss

I ordered some mushrooms and they were heavenly....pan fried with some garlic, baby spiniach, Italian parsley, lemon and dill.....just gorgeous

Then we spent the afternoon watching the kids bounce on the trampoline at home drinking a good red out of the new glasses I'd got DD - heavy as heavy wine glasses can be....
doesn't get better than this!
