An afternoon stroll

One of my favourite buildings - the gorgeous Chrysler and then a wander through Bryant Park - they even had a sweet little children's area by the carousel, with tiny chairs, tables and racks of books!

After....

So, following on from yesterday at the Flatiron...we happened upon a rooftop bar we'd heard about...and the bestest thing about not having any responsibility what-so-ever...we could decide then and there to go up and watch the sun set over the Empire State Building and the Chrysler...under the heat from these babies below, we rugged up in their red robes and ordered a cocktail...

pure, utter, bliss!! Afterwards we indulges in a midnight snack of waffles back in Times Square...ahhhh, to be on holidays is magical isn't it!
