Tricked you!!

Just when you thought I'd finished with New York...I found my iphone piccies!!

Anyway, so here we are a couple of days into our trip and off having a special dinner at Buddakan...for those of you Sex and the City fans - where Carrie and Big had their rehearsal dinner!

It was wonderful and definately lived up to all our expectations...don't you love the 'sign' for the bathrooms...left for men, right for ladies as per the painting!!

Afterwards, we went up the Empire State Building - absolutely breathtaking and at midnight, we enjoyed less crowds and the jazz band...ahhhh, like being in the movies it was!

Then like another movie, we got to walk in the rain trying to get a cab back home to Times Square xx

Top of the Rock!

One of my absolute highlights...the stunning view from the top of the Rockerfeller Building!

It was a bit hazy the day we went up - but I loved it - added to the atmosphere totally and you could almost reach out and touch the Empire State Building. A tad chilly at 2 degrees, but did we care ...well after a bit my ears started aching, so some shopping was in order  :)

After....

So, following on from yesterday at the Flatiron...we happened upon a rooftop bar we'd heard about...and the bestest thing about not having any responsibility what-so-ever...we could decide then and there to go up and watch the sun set over the Empire State Building and the Chrysler...under the heat from these babies below, we rugged up in their red robes and ordered a cocktail...

pure, utter, bliss!! Afterwards we indulges in a midnight snack of waffles back in Times Square...ahhhh, to be on holidays is magical isn't it!
