A very bubbly Christmas!

Goodness...I've nearly forgotten how to do a post!!
Blogger even forgot me and asked for my password!
I have to report that I've really taken onboard this whole relaxing thing -
every night we eat outside on the deck after a swim and  although
I've been busy decluttering and cleaning up the house, I feel fresh and organised!
Anyway, this was our family Christmas Day - lots of unwrapping, food and bubbles...

Happy Christmas!!

Signing off for a few weeks to enjoy some time just being Mummy again....
this year has been the most rewarding and exhausting and crazy all at once!

Siena and one of her girlfriends decorated this gingerbread house we picked up in kit form at Ikea
- didn't they do a fabulous job x

Anyway, have a very happy Christmas and New Year...we'll be hanging around home enjoying the pool and lots of informal family and friends to visit...see you in 2012 xxx

Happy Christmas!

No more wedding pics for now...as I MUST buckle down and actually sort through and photoshop them before the weeks fly by and the bride and groom get tired of waiting for them!!

Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and happy New 2011,
thanks for visiting, leaving me lovely comments all year
and I will be back posting January 17th!

I'm dreaming of a .....

...well hardly a white Christmas here for us...but I LOVE all things Christmas and it was so much fun to get out the tree and all the trimmings this week!
One day I'll have to upsize the tree or dare to part with some of my treasures, as I don't think it is physically possible to get any more on these branches!!!
(I did have to come home from Melbourne with the rocking horses and birds too!)

I can't resist.....

New Chrissy decorations!!!!
I am one of those christmas-loving people....I love everything about it.....can't get sick of hearing carols, want the tree up NOW....dream of menus....and have a soft spot for nativity scenes!
This year DD and I are hosting the family christmas at our place - and for once we are going to indulge him and have the traditional hot christmas lunch on christmas day instead of our usuall christmas eve. As DD is from the mother country, he wants to do an 'English' christmas this year from roast turkey, stuffing and gravy to brandy butter, pudding and board games!
I must admit to being very excited about it and when I was out last week just had to pick up these lovely santa Russian Dolls and new decorations below that match my loose Scandinavian theme to a T.
Bring on December xx
