Winter blues

We've just spent 3 days near Stanthorpe enjoying the crisp weather, wine,
log fires, nature and all that goes with getting the family out of the city!
After picking these out of 500 odd photos...I realised I must be loving shades of blue today - what's your favourite colour at the moment?

Monochrome.....and a dash of red!

Another beautiful rainy day here, and I am lucky enough to have a day working from home....and while I'm at it.....a break to show you some black and white images taken up at the Lost World at O'Reilly's.

Up in the mountains.....

Ahhhhhhhhhh
all rested, relaxed, rejuvenated and inspired!

Over the weekend I went away with some girlfriends and after spending Friday afternoon in the day spa, rain set in for the weekend....and what a blessing.....
Soft swirling mist, constant soothing rain and a lovely warm log fire which we sat by reading, talking, watching movies and eating!

The deck had a spa overlooking the valley below disappearing in layers from dark to light

I've made a few promises to myself about saying no and looking after myself

and the best bit.....no mobile coverage or internet for 3 days!

I do hope I can keep my inner calm longer than tomorrow morning xx

Winter is nearly here...

Brrrrrr, last night was cold (well for us in subtropical Brissie anyway!!)
I just love the clearness of the sky and how bright the sun shines after all
the rain we've had this week.

Autumn leaves are one of my favourite things - maybe because I just don't see many around, but I think I'd love them even more if they filled out yard with piles of warm-toned leaves and lined streets in rows of burnt sienna and bright yellow.

Sandstone

These colours are some of my favourites...rich golden browns, rust, and all things warm!

Silverton near Broken Hill.

My all time favourite - glowing grasses from the Barossa Valley.

Green

A couple of days ago my new business cards arrived!!! I'm really happy with them and to celebrate I felt like looking at the photo that I used...then I saw all these other 'green' photos!
I think they look interesting all together. Now I'm wondering - do I have all the colours of the rainbow? Me?? of course I do!!
